WEEK IN REVIEW

  • Market Recap and General Outlook
    • The stock market moved to the downside this week on fears of a tighter fed and rising treasury rates
    • Stocks rebounded a bit on Thursday, helped by Nvidia earnings
    • The PCE number came out up .6%, higher than expected
    • The fed will likely not pivot this year
    • Stock market has moved into our projected declining phase
    • Markets are moving into the riskiest period
    • The next month or so has a lot of downside risk
  • Index and Bond Updates
    • The indexes lost 3.5% – 4.5% for the week
    • 30-Year bond market is down around .5 points
    • 10-Year yields are up 11 basis points
    • Gold is down $32, likely to get to $1800 or below
    • Silver is down around 70 cents
    • The dollar is up around 1%
    • Oil is down around $1.50 for the week
