Trade Idea – Valero (VLO) 11-21-19

Our objective:  At askSlim our goal is to deliver professional grade technical analysis, trader education and trade planning tools to assist in raising your probability of success as an independent trader or investor.

“Trade Ideas” is designed to support your trade planning. We believe trade planning should be an important step in a traders’ process. For this reason, accompanying each “Trade Idea” will be a template containing many of the essential components of a trade plan.

Delivery and Frequency: Each day, our Level 3 and 4 members will vote for 3 symbols they would like to see a sample “Trade Idea” built off of. The symbols we select for “Trade Ideas” will be voted on by you our members or from our more than 300 symbol universe of stocks, ETFs and Futures. We intend to deliver at least one long and one short “Trade Idea” developed from our askSlim analytical process by 8 PM CST each trading day. In addition we will publish our “Top Chart of the Week” which will show our multi-timeframe analysis on the stock with the most votes. The “Top Chart of the Week” will be published on Monday by 2 PM CST. We will also be providing a “Trade Idea” associated with the “Top Chart of the Week” as well. Level 4 members will have access to both the static chart and the TOS chart grid link. We will send a notification to your askSlim associated email when new “Trade Ideas” have been posted.

Follow-up: When a “Trade Idea” is posted it will be indicated as “Active.” When a “Trade Idea” reaches a target zone, moves away from the favorable entry range, or violates the re-evaluation level the “Trade Idea” will be updated as “Inactive.”

Trade management: The entry, exit and strategic approach, are always left to the individual trader –  as ownership of trades greatly improves learning and long-term success in trading.
